The Island Cabin is a quiet holiday cabin on a small island in Lake Johkula for up to 6 guests – the perfect choice for couples and families who want to switch off by the water. From the cabin's own jetty you look straight out over open water, and on summer evenings the sun sets right in front of you.

At the Island Cabin, the days follow the rhythm of the water. Start the morning with coffee at the end of the jetty, take a swim straight off the boards in the afternoon, and spend the evening on the rocks watching the sky turn orange. In winter the frozen lake and starry sky turn the island into a silent winter hideaway.
Good to know: Rates are higher in the winter and summer seasons, and over Christmas and New Year the minimum stay is 3 nights. There is a life ring on the jetty, but please keep children in sight near the water at all times. Extras include final cleaning, a pet fee, breakfast, a packed lunch and early check-in or late check-out.
