Trail ride on the Johkula forest paths
On a trail ride you sit on a calm Finnhorse as you follow the forest paths and lakeshore of Johkula. The ride goes at a walk, so it suits first-timers too. At the stable your guide shows you how to handle the horse and mount before you set off.
- Duration 1.5 hours, about an hour out on the trail

- Departs daily at 10 am from the resort stable
- Helmet, safety vest and guiding included
- Up to 6 riders per departure
- Season 1 May – 30 September, and October
Good to know: Riders must be at least 10 years old and weigh no more than 100 kg. Wear long trousers and shoes with a small heel. Rides go ahead in the rain, but in a thunderstorm the start is moved.
