Northern lights photography tour with a pro
On this tour a professional photographer shows you how to capture the aurora sharp and full of colour. We drive away from light pollution into the Johkula wilderness, set up the cameras together and shoot the sky by the warmth of a campfire. The small group means the photographer has time to help everyone.
The tour
- €129 per person, about 3 hours
- Departs at 21:00 from the resort reception on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
- Transport, photography coaching, a system camera and tripod on loan, thermal overalls and a hot drink included
- You can also join with your own camera or phone
- Seasons 1 Oct–31 Mar and 1–30 Sep
- Up to 8 participants, recommended age 12+
Good to know: The northern lights are a natural phenomenon – they can't be promised in advance. On cloudy nights we practise night photography of the starry sky and winter landscape. The tour is run by our partner Revontulikuvaaja Johkula and sold by Johku Resort.
