Reindeer farm visit at Johkulan Poroaitta
On this visit you meet reindeer up close on a family-run farm in the middle of the Johkula forests. The herder tells you about everyday life and the seasons of reindeer herding, and you get to feed the reindeer by hand. We finish in the kota hut with campfire coffee and a cinnamon bun.
The visit
- €69 per adult, €39 per child (under 12), about 3 hours
- Starts at 11:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Good to know: The farm is 8 km from the resort. Directions come with your booking confirmation. Dress for the weather – warmly in winter. The visit is run by our partner Johkulan Poroaitta and sold by Johku Resort.
