Ice fishing on Lake Johkujärvi
On this trip a local fishing guide takes you to the best perch and pike spots on Lake Johkujärvi. The guide shows you how to drill and jig through the ice and tells you about the lake's fishing traditions. At the end of the trip we fry the catch over the campfire, with hot juice and coffee.
The trip
- €89 per adult, €55 per child (under 12), about 4 hours
- Starts at 10:00 from the resort beach on Wednesdays and Saturdays
- Ice fishing gear, augers, thermal overalls, campfire lunch and hot drinks included
- Season 1 Jan–15 Apr, depending on ice conditions
- Up to 10 participants
Good to know: The guide checks the ice before every trip. If the ice is not safe, the trip is cancelled and refunded. The trip is run by our partner Johkulan Kalastusopas and sold by Johku Resort.
